How post-collision scanning works

Fix the cause. During the repair the faults are addressed, not just cleared. Clearing a code without fixing the cause only hides it.
Scan again after. When the work is done, a post-repair scan confirms every fault is resolved, no new ones appeared, and any required calibrations were completed before the car goes back to you.
