We prep and sand the area, prime it, then read your car's actual color with a spectrophotometer, which accounts for age, fade, and sun rather than just the factory code, then mix the base coat here in the shop. The base coat goes on, then a protective clear coat.
The color is blended into the panels next to the repair rather than stopped at a hard edge, because even a perfect formula reads a little different against aged paint. That blend is what makes a repaired panel disappear into the rest of the car. We refinish to your original factory color, and scratches and scuffs and rust repairs get the same treatment.
