Information you provide. When you contact us, request an estimate, or bring a vehicle in for service, you may provide your name, telephone number, email address, and mailing address; information about your vehicle, including its make, model, year, license plate, and vehicle identification number (VIN); your insurance carrier and claim details; and photographs of your vehicle and the damage to be repaired. If you use the free estimate form on our website, you provide your first and last name and your telephone number; the year, make, and model of your vehicle; whether it is drivable and whether you are using insurance; and the kinds of damage you select. Photographs of the damage are optional, as is the short description you may add. The form does not ask for an email address, a mailing address, or a zip code.

Information collected automatically. Our website does not offer accounts or logins. As is standard for most websites, our hosting provider automatically records limited technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.

Purposes of processing

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To prepare estimates and perform repairs on your vehicle
• To communicate with you regarding your vehicle and the status of your repair
• To coordinate with your insurance carrier in connection with your claim
• To maintain records of the work performed, including for warranty purposes

Text messaging

If you submit the free estimate form on our website with your mobile telephone number, or otherwise give us that number and ask us to contact you, we use it to reply to your request and to send you messages about your estimate, your repair, and your appointment. The form tells you, above the button that sends it, that submitting it means we may call or text you about your estimate. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for assistance. Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.

Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or related entities for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not sold, rented, or shared with any third party for their own marketing. We share your mobile telephone number only with the service providers that operate our messaging and website systems on our behalf, and only so that they can deliver the messages you asked to receive.

User rights

You may request to review, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask how your information is used, by contacting us using the details set out below. We will respond to your request as required by applicable law. Depending on your state of residence, you may be entitled to additional rights regarding your personal information under state law.

Data retention

We retain customer and repair records for as long as necessary to provide our services, support your warranty, and satisfy our legal, tax, and business obligations. Technical website logs are retained for a limited period.

Photographs submitted through the free estimate form are stored on our website server for 30 days and are then deleted. Those photographs, and the details you send with them, also reach the shop by email, and that copy is retained with our other customer records as described above.

Data security

We maintain reasonable physical, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect the information in our care against loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. No method of storage or transmission is entirely secure; however, we take appropriate steps to safeguard your information.

Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
