How we restore cloudy headlights
Cloudy, yellow headlights are the plastic lens oxidizing as its factory UV coating breaks down.
Mask and sand. We mask off the paint around the lens and wet-sand through finer and finer grits to cut away the oxidized layer.
Polish. Then we polish the lens back to clear.
Seal. The last step is a fresh UV sealant, and it is the one that matters. Without it the haze comes back within a month or two. With it, clear lenses put more light back on the road at night.
